Description
The Washington Square Arch is a marble triumphal arch built in 1892 in Washington Square Park in the Greenwich Village neighborhood of Lower Manhattan in New York City. It celebrates the centennial of George Washington's inauguration as President of the United States in 1789 and forms the grand southern terminus of Fifth Avenue.

Dear friend Rich, I was shocked at how beautiful this monument is in person; I had not seen it in a long time, and it was lit so beautifully. It looked like the purest white in real life - my photo does not do it justice! But then again, I DO like the way it came out! LOL - And Yes, I do hope this one sells, as I believe it truly is a lovely landmark.
