It is a noir, noir world I am seeing, lately ... and fortunately. For nothing says New York or for that matter, Big City, like seeing it at night, and I am lucky to have a first row seat on the drama, the lights, and the action that never fails to manifest in Manhattan, a city of dreams, of great heights, great lows, and the continual striving of the human spirit.

This quasi-heroic take on the NYPD as 'Leader of the Pack--but still part of it' wisely softens the edges of figures as well as objects (quite the thing nowadays), and confirms that Black-and-White is most dramatic of all. Good luck with the sale!

Dear Joseph, Thank you for your excellent observations and comments! Yes, it is sort of an idealized view; and I agree that black and white certainly puts the focus on the subject, avoiding distractions of unnecessary color, at least, in this image. Thanks for the good wishes about my sale!
