Manhattan is the home of many mid-century modern marvels of architecture and design. Here is the historic Lever House, built in the 1950s, on Park Avenue in New York City. It was a snowy day and people were scrambling to take advantage of the wide overhang that provided shelter from the cold on that winter day.
