This is an excellent street photography capture that tells a powerful story! Agreed no words need be said as this man's hunched shoulders, desperate look, and his tight grip on the radio speaks volumes of his loneliness, anxiety, and despair. I like how you captured him in a moment of looking over at the empty chair and in the backdrop we see the signs advertising Retail Space for the vacant buildings. His loneliness and isolation is not just in his mind but evident in his surroundings. L/F

Thank you, Chrystyne! I'm honored that you saw so much in this picture ... yes, I, too, was aware of all that empty space in this scene, emphasizing the man's solitary condition. I felt like an unwelcome intruder even into his solitude.
