Artist's Description
Central Park always reminds me of days past in the city of New York, perhaps because it is so old, so esteemed, and so steeped in history. These young people, absorbed in the modern ritual of the "selfie," appeared almost statuesque, to me, like some sort of ancient Greek sculptures come to life. A timeless Pygmalion story, wrapped in the one-second snap of the selfie.
